The challenge on this project was to get the system to work with a low static pressure of 56 psi combined with an overall building height of around 70′ without a fire pump. A great deal of time was spent working with the client and design team to add soffits as needed to protect the upper floor living spaces to keep the required pressured down as much as possible.
